  • Dr. Kristina Bennett
    Dr. Bennett is currently a member or affiliate of the following professional bodies: College of Veterinarians of Ontario; Canadian Veterinary Medical Association; Ontario Veterinary Medical Association; Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, American Animal Hospital Association, and the International Veterinary Pain Management Association. She is the Continuing Education Coordinator for the Quinte District Veterinary Association and serves on the editorial board for the Journal of Comparative Orthopedics and Traumatology. Dr. Bennett also served for six years on the Canadian Council for Animal Care, a government organization dedicated to mandating the minimum standard of care for laboratory animals in Canada. In her spare time, Dr. Bennett enjoys gardening, sailing and spending time with her husband Alan Steward and her dogs Stella and Beau.
  • Dr. Gord Thomson

    Dr. Thomson grew up in Scarborough and knew from a very young age that he wanted to be an advocate for pets to ensure they are happy and healthy. Gordon studied Animal Biology at the University of Guelph and graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2015. Gordon has always had a passion for all veterinary medicine but has a special interest in ultrasound and surgery. He has made his home here in Belleville with his loving wife , Robin, their beautiful daughter Violet and their family of pets. Robin and Gordon have 2 cats, Frankie and Jazz. His constant companion and friend is his dog, Benny. Gordon's interest outside of veterinary medicine include hiking, soccer and ultimate frisbee., 

  • Theresa Pidgen

    Theresa joined the Foster Park family as our hospital manager. After many years of working in various jobs in the industry field, Theresa started as a receptionist in a vet office 13 years ago and finally found what she loves to do. She especially enjoys getting to know clients and their pet families. Theresa was looking for a position with a hospital that is dedicated to enhancing the human/pet bond and feels like she has found that with Foster Park. Theresa was born in Belleville and has deep roots in her community. She is involved in Big Sisters and the Salvation Army Christmas Drive. Theresa and her husband Allan live just north of Belleville with 3 cats; Oscar, Bernard and Miss Bianca.  In her free time she enjoys  reading and spending time with her family and friends. Theresa loves the adventure of travel and hopes to visit the Mediterranean one day

  • Bobbie Morrison
    With her warm infectious smile, Bobbie will be found greeting our patients and clients at Foster Park Pet Hospital’s reception desk. In addition to her responsibilities at the front desk, Bobbie is always willing to jump in and lend a hand wherever it is needed in our busy practice. Bobbie grew up in the small village of Wooler developing a strong love of animals and so a few years ago, she decided to continue her education in the animal world by completing an office assistant – veterinary diploma course through Loyalist College. In her spare time, Bobbie enjoys 4-wheeling, fishing, spending time at the cottage, or just being with her family and their two black Labs, Kita and Mia and cat Dug.
  • Amanda
    Amanda grew up in Brampton and graduated from the RVT program at Algonquin College in 2008. Amanda knew from a very young age that her passion for animals would lead her to a career in animal care and never considered any other path. She moved to Belleville in 2010 and we are so happy she has made a home here at Foster Park Pet Hospital. Amanda has a wide range of knowledge and experience but has a special interest in veterinary surgical procedures. We admire her for her dedication to patient care. Amanda and her husband Ryan live in Belleville and are very busy with their daughter Hailey and twin boys, Nathan and William. They all share their home with the first addition to the family; Lily the cat.
  • Katlyn

    Katlyn graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at St. Lawrence College in June of 2018.

  • Kayla
    Kayla grew up in Codrington and went to high school at ENSS. It was there that Kayla did a co-op at a local vet office and confirmed her love of animals and decided to make a career out of caring for them. She graduated from the Vet Assistant program at St. Lawrence college and we have been lucky to have her join our team. Her love of animals shows in her excellent care of our patients. Kayla loves all aspects of caring for pets but finds it very rewarding to use her knowledge to help people when their pet is ill. While volunteering at the Humane Society, Kayla met and fell in love with her beagle Sandy. Sandy developed Heartworm Disease and needed some extra loving care. Thanks to treatment and Kayla’s support she is now 12 years old and doing very well.
  • Demara
    Demara started her career as a Vet Assistant during a high school co-op and knew right away that she was on the right career path. She has developed her skills over the years and her deep bond with pets inspires her to continue to learn and share her knowledge with clients and their pets. Demara grew up in the village of Stirling and spent all of her spare time riding horses both for leisure and competitively. Although she still rides, the majority of her time is spent with her very active German Short Haired Pointers. Demara and her partner Brent share their home with Si and Vogue.
  • Freedom

    We are happy to have Freedom join the FPPH team as one of our Kennel Assistants. Freedom was born in Thunder Bay but has spent the majority of her life here in Belleville. Freedom’s favourite childhood friend was her dog Thor. This bond with Thor developed into a love for all animals and this shows everyday in the care she provides for pets. Freedom is a loving mom to her beautiful daughter.
